Martin is a male digitigrade coyote morph, intelligent, a little sly, good sense of humour, and a competent ship’s commander despite his youth. Skills – Master Pilot, strong business sense, good improviser.

Upon his 21st birthday, Martin received a bequeathal from his father with which he bought a second-hand starship, a former Star Corps vessel, which he fitted out for his new commercial venture, and renamed Phoenix. He has five years to make it profitable after paying off the bequeathal, and he hires a very varied crew to help him accomplish this.
